New Office Construction or Renovation

Electrical Receptacle Requirements: Recommended but not required, connection be made to a dedicated circuit breaker, and for Ceiling Mount and High Wall Mount use a receptacle controlled with a wall switch*

115VAC, 15 Amps, 50/60 Hz
230 VAC, 15 Amps, 50/60 HZ
Standard: Duplex Outlet

The following items will be the responsibility of the customer (or a construction contractor hired by the customer):

Provide properly grounded, hospital grade duplex electrical outlet (115VAC, 15 Amp, 60 HZ; or 230 VAC, 15 Amp, 50/60 Hz) above the mounting surface and within 2 feet of the center of the microscope, recommended to be connected to a separate circuit breaker with the electrical outlet controlled by a wall switch*.

It is desired but not essential that each plug outlet be controlled by an individual wall mounted switch.

Wall mount switch location
The location of the wall mount dual switches MUST be located inside the operatory and NOT adjacent to any switches that are mounted close to the operatory entrance and used for overhead lighting. The purpose is to avoid confusion with other lighting. The bulb is a metal halide and needs to ignite once turned on. Confusion and flicking the switch on and off will result in bulb failure.
